Russian River Passport
June 7th & 8th, each day 11am-4pm
Join us for a brand new annual weekend event! Russian River Passport is limited to only a small number of participants, 40 wineries, and offers access to many smaller wineries that normally aren’t open to the public. Martin Ray Winery will be featured at Russian River Vineyards in Forestville on both days, along with 8-10 other wineries, a Santa Maria style BBQ straight off the chuck wagon and live New Orleans style music. Other participating wineries & restaurants, including Zazu, DeLoach, Sunce, Russian Hill, Arista, Pellegrini, among others will be featuring their own activities, wine & food pairings, live music, wine education, tours, a wide variety of specialty dishes & local foods and much more.
Ticket prices are $89.00 per person for both days, and $49.00 for just Sunday. You can purchase your tickets by e-mailing

Annual Barrel Tasting Barbeque at Martin Ray Winery

Once again, get ready to party this summer at Martin Ray Winery! Join us on the vineyard’s edge for a gourmet Spanish-style barbeque dinner by Park Avenue Catering; menu includes: chopped salad with chipotle vinaigrette, carnitas (beef or pork) with smoked tomato sauce, barbecue chicken with zinfandel mole sauce, black beans & rice with corn & poblanos, mushroom & zucchini pudding with Oaxacan cheese, tortillas, chocolate carmelitas and more! Join us at Martin Ray Winery on Saturday, August 16th at 10:00am and 1:00pm for a unique panel discussion at our historic location. Our winery, formerly Martini Prati, is one of California’s oldest and most historic wineries. A unique panel discussion has been created for you to learn about wine making practices from the past and about the state of the art techniques being employed by today’s winemakers. Join Bo Simons, Wine Librarian of the Sonoma County Wine Library who will lead the conversation as you meet Tom Martini, fourth generation of the Martini Family, Anthony Beckman of Balletto Vineyards & Winery and Ray D’Argenzio of D’Argenzio Winery.
Tour through the Martin Ray facility where you will experience both the old and the new from 100 year old massive 11,000 gallon redwood tanks to 25,000 gallon stainless steel tanks. Hear from this panel of experts how modernization has enabled them to craft some of the Russian River Valley’s most sought after wines. San Rafael Food & Wine Festival

The festival will take place on the lawn of this historic landmark on Mission Street between D & E Streets in San Rafael. The Tenth Annual Wine & Food Affair has become the premier event for the Russian River Wine Road. Join us for a weekend of wine and food pairing in the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys.
