Summer Nights at Railroad Square

Join Martin Ray Winery for this new feature event on Fourth Street in Santa Rosa in Historic Railroad Square! Beginning Friday, June 4th and continuing July 2nd, August 6th and September 3rd from 6-9pm. Enjoy outdoor dining & food vendors, musical entertainment, pop-up craft & art retail, and of course, wine tasting from your favorite Sonoma County wineries, featuring Martin Ray Winery.

Two music areas will showcase jazz on the Wilson Street stage and dance music on the mid-Fourth Street stage with an outdoor dance floor. Summer Nights is both a free and a ticketed event. Access to Fourth Street is free to all attendees; then attendees may also purchase wine-tasting passes for $15 per event. This pass will allow three hours of tastings on Fourth Street! Tickets will be available on-line at Brown Paper Tickets, www.brownpapertickets.com and at the event from 6-8:30pm. Individual businesses will also be showcasing individual artists and participating businesses will stay open until 8pm. Experience Railroad Square in a whole new way this summer at this unique new event!


California Shakespeare Theater Wine Tasting

Come and see one of the four featured Shakespearean plays this 2010 season of the California Shakespeare Theater and enjoy wine tasting before the show. This season, they are featuring the following plays: Pastures of Heaven, Mrs. Warren's Profession, Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing. Grape to Glass Weekend features In Concert With the Artisans
Friday, August 20th from 6-10pm

Join the Russian River Valley Winegrowers for an evening of artistic passions as we kick-off the Grape to Glass weekend like never before with In Concert with the Artisans. The evening celebration begins with an artisan market hosted by our winegrowers and winemakers. Set amongst the vineyards, the market presents fine wine tasting, farm-to-table appetizers and small plate dishes created by the region's top food purveyors, and live performance art by a local painter. The night is capped by an uplifting and passionate performance by tenor Nick Palance, a rising star on the pop-opera scene made famous by the likes of Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban. Nick will be joined by a guest soprano, Lindsey Scott, for stunning arias and romantic duets under the stars of Russian River Valley wine country. Martin Ray Winery will be featuring their 2009 Angeline Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc in the Sauvignon Blanc "varietal garden".

Grape to Glass Weekend features Hog in the Fog, Festival of Plenty

The Russian River Valley Winegrowers annual Hog in the Fog ~ Festival of Plenty BBQ is a perennial favorite with its TasteFest and auction. This year, we're adding live music, art by our vintner artists, and a surprise guest chef known for firing up great BBQ recipes.
